QUESTIONS

Does the artificial turf get hot in the summer?

Artificial grass, like other synthetic surfaces, can absorb heat and become warm to the touch in high temperatures. The degree of warmth largely depends on factors such as the type and color of the turf, the amount of direct sunlight it receives, and the ambient temperature. While artificial grass may feel warmer than natural grass, it's typically not excessively hot to the point of discomfort.

To address concerns about heat, there are different artificial turf products and options available. Some products are designed with advanced cooling technology that reduces the surface temperature, making them more comfortable to walk or play on during warm days. Additionally, shading the artificial grass area, whether with natural shade from trees or man-made structures like pergolas or umbrellas, can help mitigate heat buildup. Ultimately, the choice of artificial grass and the implementation of cooling solutions can ensure that your artificial lawn remains a comfortable and enjoyable surface year-round.

What happens if my pet goes to the bathroom on the artificial grass?

Artificial turf is a convenient and hygienic solution for managing pet waste. Its efficient drainage system allows liquids, such as urine, to easily pass through the turf and evaporate in the open air, minimizing odors and preventing discoloration. Solid waste, like feces, can be quickly removed and the area rinsed with water for easy cleanup. Routine maintenance, including brushing and the use of pet-friendly cleaning products, ensures a fresh and pleasant outdoor environment. For added peace of mind, some artificial turf options are designed with pet-specific features like antimicrobial protection and odor control technology.

How do I keep my artificial grass clean?

Cleaning your artificial turf is a straightforward process. For most messes, including dirt, dust, and even pet waste, using a garden hose is often sufficient. Simply spray the affected area with water to wash away the debris. The artificial turf's drainage system allows water to pass through easily, preventing waterlogging or flooding and ensuring that the surface remains clean and hygienic.

For any leaves or debris we recommend using your leaf blower to tidy up your yard.

We DO NOT recommend using a vacuum to clean up your yard, Our installation process utilizes a sand infill base. Using a vacuum can create suction that pulls the infill material out of the turf, potentially causing unevenness or reducing the turf's cushioning effect.
